Our fees are very competitive and include all care, meals, heating, lighting, general laundry and all the other facilities.

Please note that the personal toiletries, newspapers, dry cleaning, personal telephone calls, chiropody and hairdressing are not included.

Single rooms :- from £500 to £650 per week


 Shared rooms :- £500 to £600 per person, per week

All fees are payable four weeks in advance.


The meals at Bancroft Gardens are all professionally prepared using fresh daily produce. Residents likes and dislikes are always catered for and there is a choice of menu. Special diets are accommodated and if a resident is feeling poorly, or their appetite if failing, supplementary foods are always available.

Whilst we encourage residents to have their meals in the Dining Room, it is perfectly possible for the residents to have meals in the privacy of their own rooms if preferred.

Although we try to be as flexible as possible, the main meal times are as follows-

Breakfast- breakfast can be taken at any time during the morning.

Morning Coffee/Tea- is served at 11.00am

Afternoon Tea- tea and biscuits or cake is served at 4.00pm

Hot Drinks- hot drinks or drinks to the resident's choice and biscuits are provided before bedtime and are also available throughout the day.


Residents visitors are welcome at any time, and whilst there are no formalities we recommend that a telephone call be made prior to arrival for infrequent visitors. We encourage our visitors to feel they are a part of our extended family. Bone fide regular visitors are given the entrance door code so that they can come and go as they wish. 


Your needs whilst at Bancroft Gardens will be met by an experienced team who maintain the highest standards of care at all times, ensuring a happy and relaxed atmosphere. They are all experienced in the care of the elderly and residents will find that nothing is too much trouble for them. The well-being and comfort of the residents is important to us and for this reason all our staff undertake extensive training which has led to the home achieving the prestigious 'Investor in People' award.

Each resident is allocated a 'Key Worker' who is responsible for preparing the resident's Care Plan. It is always possible for relatives to speak to a senior member of staff.
